The original image had a pretty strange quality to it already, but I like to think I've given things a helpful nudge further down the road to bizzaro world ^_^
Took a leaf out of 's book and played with gradients on vectors and produced some nicer results than I was expecting - much as it pains me to say this, she may have had a point about gradients fitting in well with vectors
Also picked up a rather spiffy book displaying exaples of "Romantik" - That is, a more romantic approach to design using softer pastel shades and a more and using more hand made elements. Needless to say it was mighty inspiring and I tried to at least incorporate some of the elements from the style into this piece
If there's enough interest, I'll look into making this a print - I've currently misplaced my size list, so I can't do it right now ^_^
i like it so much! it's interesting how this buissnes woman seems to dissappear step by step....so it#s a big contrast between this cold and icy buissness woman and the water..
i love these great colours and the way how you made...a bit retro, a bit pop...it just has style!!!
and those flowers *______*
many thanks for the comment - I used Photoshop to do the pic, so its not exactly a vector in the truested sense - and as far as I can remember its was all pretty much done with a mouse apart from some smaller details
